Aldi Launches Free Virtual Work Experience for Young People
Aldi has introduced a free virtual work experience programme for UK students aged 13 and over, designed to help young people explore careers in retail. Developed with Springpod, the course includes videos, activities, and insights from Aldi colleagues, covering roles from stores and warehouses to officebased positions.
Participants receive a certificate upon completion to boost their CVs and future applications.
Lisa Murphy, Training and Development Director at Aldi UK, said the flexible, online format makes it accessible to students nationwide, regardless of location or schedule. Over 2,000 students have already signed up.
Aldi is also recruiting over 500 apprentices across the UK in 2025, with opportunities now open. Explore current roles here.
