Firstly the pilot light monitors the level of Oxygen and Carbon Dioxide in the room before the level becomes unsafe the portable heater will automatically turn itself off. In addition, should the pilot flame be blown out, the gas supply is cut off making the heater safe. The Lifestyle Seasons Warmth heater comes in a red finish.
