How to Grow
Plant patio fruit trees in 60cm 2 diameter containers using a good quality compost such as John innes No.3. Alternatively plant them in any well drained soil in a sheltered sunny position. Plant fruit trees at their original soil level, firm them into the ground and water well. Feed and water containerised plants regularly. For pruning advice, please see individual product pages. Most fruits trees should be pruned during the winter months when the plants are dormant. However, care should be taken when pruning cherry trees to avoid winter pruning as this leaves cherry trees prone to silver leaf disease.
