The Pays dOc winegrowing region is based in the south of France, and covers the area from the South of the Côtes du Rhône all the way to Carcassone. The grapes are harvested when perfectly ripe and are quickly pressed at low temperature to preserve their freshness. The wine presents a wonderful brilliant garnetred robe. The wine has a very fruity bouquet red fruits, blackcurrant… with aromas of red fruit jam. A balanced wine with silky tannins and a superb lengthy finish. This wine pairs perfectly with meat dishes in sauce, chocolatebased desserts or enjoyed as an apéritif.
Says 14% ABV but I doubt it. Other websites say 13.5% or 12.5% ABV which sounds more likely.
Not tried it but worth a punt at sub £5 a bottle.
