The main differences of the two versions are
1. The side wheel of the Platinum Gray version is made of plastic, whereas that of the Slate Gray version is made of metal.
2. The 14 screw hole on the bottom of the grip of the Platinum Gray version is made of aluminum, whereas that of the Slate Gray version is made of copper.
3. The top shell of the grip of the Platinum Gray version is made of plastic, whereas that of the Slate Gray version is made of metal.
4. The tripod screw of the Platinum Gray version is made of aluminum, whereas that of the Slate Gray version is made of stainless steel.
